Lessons on Discord, attendance checked
Many coding lessons happen over screen share on Discord. Kadrella detects the call and marks the lesson as taught when the length matches (Essentials plan).
For coding tutors
Your high schoolers, university students and adults learning to code, their lessons this week and their payments, in one place.

Trusted by tutoring businesses
Kadrella is private-lesson management software that fits independent coding and computer science tutors: weekly lessons per student, parents linked to younger students, adults who pay for themselves, and a record of who has paid. Your students may be high schoolers taking GCSE or AP Computer Science, university students before an exam, or adults learning Python or web development to change careers. Kadrella has no code editor or exercises: it runs your schedule and your money.

A high schooler, a university student before an exam and an adult changing careers do not pay the same rate. Length and price are set per student, and the subject is noted on each lesson.
Adults book their lessons after work. Each student gets a recurrence on one or more days, and your week syncs with Google Calendar (Essentials plan).
Each lesson taught adds to what the student or family owes, each payment you record brings it down, oldest lessons first. Late payers stand out, and the reminder goes out on WhatsApp when you click (Essentials plan).
An adult wants to build a website in ten sessions? Create the lessons as a recurrence with an end date. Kadrella has no package counter: money paid upfront is recorded as one payment, spread over the unpaid lessons.

The founder's story
I've taught maths and computer science since 2020, and I run my own private-tutoring business, Head of Science: several teachers, around a hundred students. I'm also a software engineer. In 2024, I started building this tool for myself, because tracking payments and chasing late ones took every Sunday. I've used it every day since. Kadrella is that same tool, opened up to other teachers.

No. Kadrella runs the organisation side of your lessons: schedule, students, families and payments. Keep your usual tools to code with the student, such as screen share or a shared Git repository.
Yes. The subject is set on each lesson, not on the student: one student can have computer science on Tuesday and math on Thursday, each lesson at its own rate.
Yes for the schedule and payments. Automatic attendance checks only work with Discord; with Zoom or Meet, you mark lessons as taught yourself.
The free plan covers students, lessons and payment tracking with no limit. Essentials (€29 a month) adds WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Superprof and Discord; Complete (€49 a month) adds invoicing, bank reconciliation and reports. No commission on your lessons.
No. When you create a lesson, Kadrella can send a confirmation on WhatsApp. It does not send an automatic reminder before each lesson, and payment reminders go out when you click.
