Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026
These terms govern the use of the Kadrella service, published by Head of Science (HOS). They should be read together with our Legal notice & privacy policy. This English version is provided for information only; the French version prevails.
Object of the service
Kadrella is an application that automates the administrative management of private tutoring: students, teachers, lessons, payments and invoicing.
The service offers additional modules connected to third-party platforms (WhatsApp, Discord, Superprof, Google Calendar, banking services) to automate certain tasks. These modules are optional: the application remains fully usable without them.
The features shown on this site or in our commercial materials are given for guidance and may evolve; contact us before any purchase to confirm the exact offer.
Duration, payment and withdrawal
Subscriptions are monthly, auto-renewing, and non-refundable. Once a month has started, no full or partial refund is possible, even if the service is not used.
Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply: subscribing immediately commits technical costs (infrastructure, integration setup, automations) regardless of actual use. By subscribing, you expressly waive this right.
Service availability
Kadrella supports your tutoring business after or alongside the lesson itself: administrative management, invoicing, follow-up. An unavailability of Kadrella or one of its modules never blocks giving your lessons, collecting payments through your usual means, or following up with your students: these remain possible independently of the application.
We do our best to keep Kadrella and its modules (WhatsApp, Discord, Superprof, calendar, banking, AI...) available, but no continuous or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.
An interruption may come from a failure on our side, a network issue, a failure of our infrastructure, or an outage, restriction or change at a host or third-party platform (WhatsApp, Discord, Google, Superprof, a bank, etc.), over which we have no control.
Whatever the cause, an interruption or unavailability of a module is neither a breach of contract nor a compensable harm. It cannot give rise to a refund, full or partial, of the subscription, nor to compensation for any resulting loss of revenue or clientele.
The actions enabled by a module (replying on WhatsApp, approving a Superprof request, checking a bank payment, etc.) always remain possible directly on the platform concerned, independently of Kadrella.
Kadrella, a gateway to your third-party accounts
Kadrella is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp, Meta, Discord, Superprof or Google. Some of these platforms do not offer an official API for this kind of use: depending on the case, you give us directly a login and password (Superprof), a personal account token (Discord), or you pair your WhatsApp account by scanning a QR code, as with WhatsApp Web.
For its automations, Kadrella connects, with your authorisation, to accounts that belong to you. Kadrella acts as a technical gateway: it performs actions on your behalf, it is neither the owner nor the guarantor of these accounts.
Each third-party platform enforces its own usage rules, including limits against mass messaging. On our side, we apply technical safeguards to limit risky usage (sending pace, volume). These measures reduce the risk but do not eliminate it.
It is each user's responsibility to remain reasonable in how they use these automations, for example not to contact the same person excessively or repeatedly. Compliance with the terms of WhatsApp, Discord, Superprof or any other connected platform remains the user's sole responsibility.
Kadrella cannot be held liable if a third-party account is restricted, suspended or closed by its operator, for whatever reason, nor for the consequences that follow.
Third-party accounts and integrations
Third-party platforms may change their APIs, their terms of use, or close the access an integration depends on, without notice. A feature may then be restricted, changed or interrupted.
Kadrella revokes stored access as soon as an account is terminated or on simple request, and never uses it beyond the described features.
Artificial intelligence
Some features (AI secretary, summaries, automatic replies) rely on artificial intelligence. By enabling them, you agree that the necessary data (messages, lesson and student information, etc.) is transmitted to our artificial intelligence provider, currently Anthropic (Claude), for processing. This provider may change if our infrastructure evolves.
Generated content is provided for guidance only, may contain errors, and remains your responsibility to check before any use or sending.
As with regular automations, you remain responsible for actions taken on your behalf by the AI secretary, including those sent on third-party platforms.
Suspension or termination of the account
Kadrella may suspend or terminate an account, without notice, in the event of non-payment, abusive or diverted use of the service, sending unsolicited messages, breach of these terms, or illegal or fraudulent activity.
This suspension or termination does not give rise to any refund, full or partial, of the current subscription.
Liability
Kadrella is an administrative management tool that supports your business, never a prerequisite for running it: giving lessons, collecting payments or following up with your students always remains possible through your usual means, including when the application is unavailable.
Kadrella cannot be held liable for indirect, intangible or commercial damages related to the use or inability to use the service, in particular loss of revenue, loss of clientele, operating loss or reputational harm.
This includes the consequences of a network failure, a failure of a third-party provider or host, a cyberattack, a natural disaster or any event beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
In all cases, Kadrella's total liability, regardless of cause, is capped at the amount paid by the user for the subscription during the month preceding the dispute.
Minimum age and international use
Users must be of legal age and legally capable of subscribing to the service.
The service may be used from different countries; it is the user’s responsibility to comply with the laws applicable in their country of residence.
Acceptance and updates to these terms
Using Kadrella implies full acceptance of these terms.
We may modify them at any time. Users are notified through the application or by email in case of a major change; otherwise it is up to them to check this page regularly. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are read together with our Legal notice & privacy policy, which sets out the publisher’s identity (Head of Science), intellectual property, consumer mediation and the applicable law.
