ProfMate alternative
ProfMate alternative: Kadrella, free and connected to WhatsApp
Kadrella is a ProfMate alternative with a free forever plan, WhatsApp integration, Superprof import and bank reconciliation. ProfMate stays better for a registered tutor in France who wants the instant tax-credit advance, tax certificates, session reports and a parent space, from €15/month on Standard.
Updated 19 October 2026
ProfMate is a French app for private tutors, published by Éducélan and designed by a tutor. It brings together scheduling, session reports, parent and student spaces, invoices, the instant tax-credit advance and tax certificates, with a "Suis-je en règle ?" compliance score and help registering a micro-business. Expect €15/month on Standard, €10 on Start for online lessons.
Kadrella starts from WhatsApp: family messages, lessons, payments and bank transfers end up in one place, and Superprof students import without retyping. Kadrella handles neither the instant advance nor tax certificates, and has no parent space. Its free plan, though, has no time or student limit, and it handles several tutors.

- You are starting out and want help registering your micro-business and checking your obligations.
- You want an AI assistant that corrects exercises and prepares quizzes for your students.
Moving from ProfMate to Kadrella
ProfMate lets you export your clients as a spreadsheet at any time. Import that CSV or Excel file into Kadrella: columns are matched automatically. Students from Superprof can be imported directly.
If your families use the instant advance through ProfMate, do not switch off right away: Kadrella does not offer it. Also keep the year’s invoices in ProfMate for your tax certificates.
