Mahwai is a recent French app for tutors and small tutoring structures. It brings together student profiles, homework, AI-assisted correction, exercise generation and a schedule. Homework is shared with students through a WhatsApp link that opens a web page, with no account to create. Plans run from €14 to €59/month depending on the number of students, after a 7-day trial.
Kadrella covers the other half of the job: students, lessons synced with Google Calendar, invoicing, payments with automatic bank reconciliation, tax-credit certificates. Invoices and reminders go out over WhatsApp from Kadrella. Mahwai itself states that built-in invoicing is on its roadmap and that it handles the teaching side for now.
In practice, the two tools barely overlap. Mahwai is used during and after the lesson: you set homework, the student hands it in, the AI suggests a grade and comments that you approve, then the student's competency profile updates. Kadrella is used at the end of the month and at tax time: who has paid, which transfer matches which invoice, who to remind, which certificate to send to families. Kadrella's AI secretary drafts actions from incoming messages for a manager to approve, but it does not grade work. A tutor who grades a lot can keep Mahwai for teaching and add Kadrella for money and paperwork.

Moving from Mahwai to Kadrella
Mahwai documents no data export on its site. Since its plans are capped between 5 and 60 students, there are a manageable number of records to move: manual entry or a CSV import into Kadrella is enough, usually in under an hour for a solo tutor.
If some students come from Superprof, the Superprof import pulls them in directly. You then connect WhatsApp and your Google Calendar, recreate your recurring lessons and issue your first invoices.
