Kadrella is private-lesson management software that fits homework help and elementary or middle-school tutoring: short, frequent after-school sessions, a parent linked to each student and a running total of what each family owes. It works in any currency and timezone. For tutors in France, where at-home tutoring gives parents a 50% income-tax credit up to €12,000 of spending a year (service-public.gouv.fr, page F12), it also records CESU payments, but it does not file anything with Urssaf. Each family's month
Each session taught adds to what the family owes, each payment you record brings it down. At the end of the month you see who still has to pay, and the reminder goes out on WhatsApp when you click (Essentials plan).
Check, cash or transfer
The payment method is noted on each payment: check, cash, transfer, PayPal or CESU in France. A transfer from a linked parent is matched to the right student once your bank is connected (Complete plan).
The parent's number on the record
For a child, put the parent's number on the student record: lesson confirmations and WhatsApp reminders go to that number (Essentials plan). The parent can also be linked to the record with their own details.
School holidays
During the holidays, cancel the week's sessions without deleting the recurrence. A free cancellation is not added to the family balance.

If you coordinate several tutors, each one has their own students and schedule, and you track what you owe each of them.

The founder's story
Built by a teacher, for his own tutoring business.
I've taught maths and computer science since 2020, and I run my own private-tutoring business, Head of Science: several teachers, around a hundred students. I'm also a software engineer. In 2024, I started building this tool for myself, because tracking payments and chasing late ones took every Sunday. I've used it every day since. Kadrella is that same tool, opened up to other teachers.
Frequently asked questions
Can I take CESU payments in France?+
You record a CESU payment like any other, with CESU as the payment method. Kadrella is connected to neither CESU nor Urssaf: collecting and declaring stay on your side. To accept prepaid CESU, you need to be registered as a home service provider (services à la personne).
Can parents claim the French tax credit?+
In France, at-home tutoring gives a tax credit of 50% of the year's spending, up to €12,000 a year, raised by €1,500 per dependent child with a €15,000 ceiling (service-public.gouv.fr, page F12, checked on 15 April 2026). Kadrella does not produce the tax certificate: our free generator helps you fill it in.
Does Kadrella handle the instant tax-credit advance?+
No. Kadrella is not connected to Urssaf and does not handle the instant advance (avance immédiate). Our article on the instant advance explains how it works and what it requires.
How much does it cost?+
The free plan covers students, lessons and payment tracking with no limit. Essentials (€29 a month) adds WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Superprof and Discord; Complete (€49 a month) adds invoicing, bank reconciliation and reports. No commission on your lessons.
My sessions last 45 minutes. Is that possible?+
Yes. Length and price are set per student and per session, by the hour or as a flat price per session.
