The rhythm of an exam year
One lesson a week through the year, then a second one in the last weeks before the exam: add a second recurrence with an end date without touching the first one.
- Length and price per student
For English tutors
Essay writing and exam prep, reading with younger children: your students, their families and who has paid.

Trusted by tutoring businesses
Kadrella is private-lesson management software that fits English tutors who teach reading, writing and literature to school students: weekly lessons per student, parents linked to younger children, extra sessions before exams and payment tracking. In the Les Sherpas 2024-2025 study of French students, the national language (French there) is the second most requested tutoring subject, with 10% of lessons, right after math. If you teach English as a foreign language to adults, the language tutor page fits you better. Kadrella does not mark essays: it runs your schedule and your money.
One lesson a week through the year, then a second one in the last weeks before the exam: add a second recurrence with an end date without touching the first one.
Your lessons sync to Google Calendar with the student, subject, place and length (Essentials plan).
Each lesson taught adds to what the family owes, each payment you record brings it down, oldest lessons first. Late payers stand out, and the reminder goes out on WhatsApp when you click (Essentials plan).
If you find students on Superprof, their requests and details come into Kadrella without retyping (Essentials plan).
Forty-five minutes of reading with an eight-year-old, two hours of essay work with a high schooler: length and price are set per student.
A young student can have a parent linked to their record. Put the parent's number on the child's record: lesson confirmations and WhatsApp reminders go to that number (Essentials plan).

The founder's story
I've taught maths and computer science since 2020, and I run my own private-tutoring business, Head of Science: several teachers, around a hundred students. I'm also a software engineer. In 2024, I started building this tool for myself, because tracking payments and chasing late ones took every Sunday. I've used it every day since. Kadrella is that same tool, opened up to other teachers.
No. Kadrella runs the organisation side of your lessons: schedule, students, families and payments. Prompts, marking and reading notes stay in your own tools.
Yes. Kadrella handles adult students with no linked parent the same way, in your currency and timezone. The language tutor page covers that case in detail.
Add one-off sessions, or a second recurrence with an end date for the final weeks. Several students can share a session, each with their own price.
The free plan covers students, lessons and payment tracking with no limit. Essentials (€29 a month) adds WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Superprof and Discord; Complete (€49 a month) adds invoicing, bank reconciliation and reports. No commission on your lessons.
No. When you create a lesson, Kadrella can send a confirmation on WhatsApp. It does not send an automatic reminder before each lesson, and payment reminders go out when you click.
