Calendar sync
Copying every lesson into the teacher's calendar?
The lesson is in your notes, then it has to go into the teacher's calendar and nobody can forget. Kadrella does it when you create the lesson.
In short
Kadrella's Google Calendar sync gives each teacher their own Google calendar, filled with their lessons as you create them.
How it works
One Google Calendar per teacher
Each teacher gets their own calendar, created by Kadrella, which they read on their phone as usual.
Added when you create the lesson
Tick Google Calendar when creating the lesson: the event shows up in the teacher's calendar with the student and the time.
Removed if deleted
A lesson deleted in Kadrella also disappears from the teacher's calendar.
Getting started
- 01
Nothing to connect: Kadrella creates a Google calendar for each teacher and shares it with them.
- 02
When you create a lesson, tick Google Calendar: the event shows up in the teacher's calendar.
- 03
The teacher sees it in their Google Calendar app, on phone or computer.
Frequently asked questions
Does the teacher have to grant access to their Google account?
No. The calendar is created by Kadrella and shared with the teacher's email, with edit rights. Managers get read access.
What happens when a lesson changes?
The event is updated. A cancelled lesson leaves the calendar, and a lesson that changes teacher moves to the new teacher's calendar.
Can I share the calendar with other people?
Yes, a teacher's calendar can be shared with other email addresses.
What about Outlook or Apple Calendar?
The sync works with Google Calendar only.
